Nirvana were a brilliant band that were famous ifrom 1991 to 1994 and were from Seattle. They were also good friends with the red hot chili peppers. Sadly, Nirvana arent together anymore as Kurt Cobain ,the lead singer and guitar player, commited suicide in 1994. R.I.P Kurt. The drummer in nirvana is now the lead singer in the foo fighters.

The red hot chili peppers have been around since 1983. the band started with Hillel Slovak , Jack Irons, Flea (Micheal Balzary) and Anthony Kiedis. In 1988 Hillel died of a drug overdose and Jack Irons could not handle the loss of his friend so he quit the band. The band now consists of Anthony Kiedis, John Frisciante, Chad Smith and Flea after many other drummers and guitar players they decided that this was the best way to continue.
